Phenomenon: Router WiFi network changed (SSID/password), requiring datalogger reconfiguration.
Technical Causes: N/A (routine configuration update).
Diagnostic Procedure:
- Confirm ShineWiFi-S dongle inserted and inverter powered.
Resolution:
- Reset dongle: Press and hold reset button (small hole) for 10 seconds until LED flashes red rapidly.
- Open ShinePhone app > Add Datalogger > Select hotspot mode.
- Connect phone to dongle hotspot (SSID: AP_ followed by digits, default password: 12345678).
- In app, enter new router SSID and password > Apply settings.
- Wait for LED to turn solid blue after successful connection.
WARNING: Maintenance and repair of PV systems, high-voltage DC, and AC components must only be performed by certified professionals with valid electrical qualifications (e.g., SEP/G1 in Poland, or local European equivalents). Unauthorized opening of the inverter housing will void the warranty and carries a risk of electric shock or fire.
In case of persistent hardware failure, the only authorized path for repair is contacting the official Growatt Service Department.
